"Canticles of Praise is Divine" - Concert Review by Mary Nares, Sacramento Press and "Stained Glass" Photos by Ronnie Johnson

Sacramento Stained Glass One - Canticles of Praise - soared at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament this past weekend. Congratulations and thanks to all who performed and attended.

Sacramento Bee - Stained Glass PRE-CONCERT FEATURE: "Choral Society Takes Up Classic Bernstein Work"

The SCSO's Canticles of Praise, Saturday, Oct. 29 at 8 PM & Sunday, Oct. 30 at 3 PM  - Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament
Some tickets will be available at the door at both performances.


The Sacramento Bee's Edward Ortiz has written an outstanding pre-concert feature entitled Choral Society Takes Up Classic Bernstein Work in the Living Here Section of the Sunday, October 23rd edition.


Ortiz includes comments from two Bernstein experts about Bernstein's Chichester Psalms and provides important background about the work with additional comments on Jongen's Mass and Mathias' Let the People Praise Thee.
