SACRAMENTO BEE FEATURE - SCSO European Masterworks - Contemporary Meets Classical

Dear Friends,

It's exciting to know that we will have LIVE CLASSICAL MUSIC in Sacramento this Saturday evening when the Conductor Donald Kendrick and the SCSO will offer a unique program of Contemporary Meets Classical.

Enjoy Debbie Arrington's Sacramento Bee Concert Feature - March 12, 2015

The main musical fare will be a performance of Mozart's powerful Great Mass written in 1782 when he first spread his wings as a freelance musician in Vienna. Written for Chorus, Orchestra and 4 Soloists.

Contemporary English Composer Cecilia McDowall's poignant Magnificat will provide a perfect prelude to Mozart's classical work.

Saturday, March 14 at 8 PM
